Ah, the question of all questions; what is a “typical” cat’s preference? In fact, “typical cat” could be an oxymoron, as they are all such individuals. Some cats thrive on having playmates, particularly kittens, but at ten months Koshka is on the verge of adulthood. His playtime will begin to decrease over the next weeks and months.
Some cats prefer being only pets. It’s hard for me to guess which camp Koshka might fall into. Siberians are noted for being very loyal to their owners, but they also get into mischief if bored. A furry friend might relieve boredom but also could be twice the trouble and pleasure!. Check with your breeder regarding predictable temperament in her particular line.
