I have a 2-year old female cat, Bella. She is a very well-behaved cat. Being a student, I...

In a multiple cat home it is essential that there be at least one litter box per cat and that they are placed in different areas of the environment. Cats may not share space equally and there can be social issues between cats that keep them from their litter boxes. In some cases allowing a cat time alone in a room without other cats can help them feel more comfortable and give them time to use their litter box properly without being disturbed.
