I have 4 cats. The 3 year old weighs 16 lbs. and also has a history of constipation,...

When there are multiple cats in the home with different dietary needs feeding them can be a challenge. One solution is to go to meal feeding where each cat gets a bowl of dry food provided to them 3-4 times a day and allowed access for 15-20 minutes. At the end of that time the food bowls are put up and away. Another solution is to place food bowls where the lighter cats can access them and the heavier one cannot. Sometimes this works if the lighter cats are more agile and can jump up to reach their bowl but the heavier cat is unable to jump that high.
