Different cats enjoy a variety of pastimes. Remember that cats normally sleep up to sixteen hours a day, and when you aren’t there, may sleep even more. Interactive “treat” toys interests some cats. You fill these with dry kibble, and show the kitty how to roll the ball so the treat falls out. This can provide hours of hunting-type play for the bored cat.
If you have window views, providing a bird feeder or birdbath right outside offers the cat lots of entertainment. Other cats enjoy watching videos of birds, squirrels and other wildlife.
