I would like to know how often a cat should go and see the veterinarian?

A young healthy cat should have a physical examnation yearly. At that time you and the veterinarian can discuss what vaccinations might be appropriate for your cat. This might be influenced by the exposure to other cats both inside and outdoors. As cat ages, they often need more frequent veterinary visits. After 7 years of age it is usually prudent to have yearly blood work done to look for any medical problems. Once a cat becomes a senior cat, they may need veterinary visits twice yearly to assess their health.
