Is it okay to give cats garlic for worms & fleas?



There are many home remedies touted as being useful to treat all types of problems in our companion animals. However, most have not been tested for efficacy. Intestinal parasites can result in weigh loss and intestinal malabsorption. If a cat is suspected of having intestinal parasites, the first step is a fecal sample to determine what type of parasite is present. Once the culprit has been identified, appropriate medication can be dispensed by the veterinarian.
