My 12 year old cat has lost one of his long front teeth. Is this normal, and what should...

Tooth loss is usually due to dental and/or gum disease. If a cat has lost a tooth, it is possible that other teeth are not healthy. Good dental health is important to allow a cat to eat, groom and stay well. A veterinary examination should be done to determine the health of the remaining teeth and perhaps to schedule a dental cleaning.
