Many adult cats will carry excess weight in the abdomenal area leading to a "sagging" belly. Once they lose the excess weight the lose skin may still remain. Even cats that are not overweight may experience this change. Your veterinarian can examine your cat and check the body condition score to assess whether or not they are overweight. If their weight and body condition score are appropriate, then the problem is not a weight problem.
