Interesting question. I would suspect that the first time you saw Bruiser shaking, when you were at the airport, it was likely because he was nervous. Many cats will tremble when anxious, scared or nervous. Now this may or may not be the case when he is sleeping, although it's possible, especially if he's dreaming. If you are concerned you certainly could take him in to the vet; at 13 months he should be about due for his 1-year check up (unless he didn't have the typical kitten vaccinations and exams). However, if he is eating, drinking, maintaining his weight, and acting normal in every other way, it may not be an emergency to take him in.
