I have three cats. One is five-years-old, another three and the last two-years-old. The...

I don’t know how you introduced your other cats, but generally I recommend isolating the newcomer in a separate room for at least one to two weeks. This will be particularly important in this case. Let the three resident felines get used to the new boy’s smells and sounds through a door (and vice versa) before allowing them to meet.

He will move and look differently than they do, and that may be off-putting to them. Also, he may be overwhelmed by three strange cats and need extra time to get his bearings. Since he won’t be as mobile--unless you’ve got a set of kitty wheels for him the new kitty also won’t be able to get out of their way as easily.

I’d not leave the cats without supervision until you’re confident they all get along or the new cat has the ability to protect himself and escape from being picked on. Such cats seem to adapt incredibly well. He may be able to climb and reach higher perches simply using his forelimbs and claws. Good luck!
