I read from your website that two months is when it is important for the kitten to play...

While having a kitten with their littermates for 8 weeks is ideal, there are many, many kittens in which this is not the case that turn out great! The best thing you can do is have lots of play sessions with your kitten when you are home. I recommend at least 15 minutes of active play 2-3 times a day, if not more. It often helps to have one of those sessions just before bedtime. I discourage rough play with your hands so your cat is not drawn to biting at fingers and instead use toys that your kitten can chase. You can also help keep your cat active while you are at work by using treat balls or food puzzles to help encourage your kitten's natural hunting instincts. They also make some great videos for cats you could put on during the day. It sounds like you're doing great, so don't worry too much. Giving your kitten a safe, loving environment is just as important as the time he would have had with his littermates.
