My cat, Calle, seems to be independent one moment and the next moment she wants loads of...

Sucking behavior offers comfort to some cats, just as a child might suck his thumb. Most felines outgrow the behavior. Others continue to suck on their own or another cat’s body part (often the tail), a stuffed toy, or sometimes the owner (when allowed to do so). If you don’t mind the behavior and can control it while awake, that’s between you and your cat. But nighttime nursing that draws blood should, of course, be discouraged.

You have a couple of options. Putting Calle out of the bedroom is the best option. Invest in some earplugs so you won’t hear her cries and give in to her pleas. The other option might be dabbing Vicks on your ears before bedtime since the aroma and taste usually keeps cats at bay.
