Every cat and kitten develops unique relationships with their humans. I’m sure there are certain behaviors or special things they share with your husband that they don’t do with you! The face-grooming ritual preference could have multiple reasons. Perhaps your body chemistry just makes you taste better--or you use face cream that your husband doesn’t. It might also be due to his beard stubble, or aftershave might be off-putting. Some cats love to groom their owner’s beard while others don’t. Your kittens don’t love him any less, they simply love him differently.
