Any change in the color of the eyes warrants a trip to the veterinarian. We can see some normal changes in the colored part of the eye as a cat gets older but there are other causes as well. Commonly uveitis, a type of inflammation of the eye, can cause the color of the eye to change and this needs to be treated. I would encourage you to take your cat in when you can. Hopefully it will be nothing but better safe than sorry.
