They say that cats choose their loves, and this seems the case with this smitten Siamese. This breed does tend to bond very closely to only one or two people so it’s not unusual for a Siamese to pick a favorite person in the family group. It’s hard to say why he reacts so strongly to you over his longtime family members. It might be you give this cat the specific type of attention he craves, or you move/sound ‘right’ or even smell like the best thing in the world. I can’t predict how the cat will behave or feel when you move away, but I suspect that he will indeed mourn your loss.
